You do not need to get these if you are buying a Smart Doll for the first time.

When we first launched the cinnamon skin tone, we used the milk frame. At the time, the color difference didn't bother me because the milk frame was never an exact match with milk vinyl in the first place.
But then I started to notice that the frame looks different under varying lighting conditions - sunlight, tungsten light, florescent light etc - now this *did* start to bother me.

The team started to work on color matching for a cinnamon frame which involves months and months of development time. We order a sample plate which takes 6 weeks to come back. Then if it looks OK we order the pellets (another 6 weeks ) and then we need to set the injection molds in place to do a test shot.
Test shots will look different because of the matte surface of the ball joints - light refracts from a sandblasted surface which will make the surface color appear lighter.
If the color is too light then we have to start again and we did this twice which took about 5 months - covid extended the development time.

At home in my apartment I have difficulty telling the difference of my cinnamon girls with milk joints - probably because of the dark lighting. But on the 2nd floor in the office I can notice a difference. Depending on your environments lighting, the color may bother you and if it does then you may want these.

Having said that - the color is not an exact match - have a look at the photos to see if the match is good enough for you or ask a friend who bought a cinnamon Smart Doll recently. All cinnamon Smart Dolls now come with cinnamon joints.

This product includes both arms but no hands as you can see from the photo of the packaged product. Hands not included ;-)

Default feet with cinnamon joints will be sold at a later date but no ETA. If your girls wear shoes most of the time then you may want to buy the high heel feet instead that also come with a cinnamon ankle frame.
